Implementing mod_ruid2

I will advise caution when implementing mod_ruid2 on production servers. We have seen far more failures than successes since this became an option. Typically we don’t have the luxury of troubleshooting when this happens, as the objective is to get our customers up and running as quickly as possible.

With that in mind, the concept of ruid2 is fantastic and I look forward to the day when it’s as stable as SuPHP or DSO.
