Automatically Insert a Decimal Point

Have you noticed that Microsoft Excel will automatically insert a decimal point into ever workbook and worksheet that you open? Someone or yourself has enabled the decimal point feature (default is to divide your number by 100) and you can get rid of it once and for all.

Enable Auto Insert Feature
01. Reopen Microsoft Excel
02. Bring up the window for Excel Options with ALT + F + T
03. Select the Advanced option in the left column
04. Select the Automatically insert a decimal point box
05. Save your changes by pressing the OK button

Remove Auto Insert Feature
01. Reopen Microsoft Excel
02. Bring up the window for Excel Options with ALT + F + T
03. Select the Advanced option in the left column
04. Unselect the Automatically insert a decimal point box
05. Save your changes by pressing the OK button

You can also leave the box selected and change the number to zero.
