* Dropbox: 2GB – Free bonuses are also available but are small.
* Google Drive: 15GB – Shared with GMail and bonuses are available.
* Mega: 50GB
* OneDrive: 5GB – Reduced from 15GB after Wednesday July 27, 2016.
* Sync: 5GB – Additional 1GB Bonus with link.

Please keep in mind that free — and even paid — online storage services can be reduced, restricted, or terminated at any time. Always make sure you have both the time (to download your data) and the resources (for backups) to keep your content safely offline when needed.

For example, I once had 12 GB stored in OneDrive. The free limit at the time was 15 GB, but when Microsoft reduced the free tier to 5 GB, I could no longer upload new files. I was also notified that if I didn’t remove the excess data, my account could be suspended or terminated — meaning all my files would be permanently lost.

Since then, I make sure that anything stored online is also backed up twice locally (both magnetic and optical media) to avoid surprises and ensure long‑term access to my data.
