Installing macOS Big Sur on a MacBookPro9,1

Today, I will be installing macOS Big Sur on a MacBookPro9,1. It’s not the first time but on this occasion, I will capture it on video so that you may follow along. Please note that the MacBookPro9,1 will lose access to the internal Wi-Fi hardware once you upgrade and will need to either patch, swap hardware, utilize USB tethering or utilize a USB Wi-Fi connection. You may also partition the drive in half so that you can boot to Catalina (or earlier) which is still supported.
