No iPhone Online Until June

Apple confirmed yesterday that iPhones are no longer available from the online Apple store. In fact, you’d be hard pressed to find any iPhones for sale at AT&T’s website or any other mobile carriers’ websites worldwide that have partnered with Apple to carry the iPhone like O2 in the UK, T-Mobile in Germany, and Orange in France as the supply from Apple’s warehouses has dried up.

Why hasn’t Apple been making more iPhones? The answer is they probably haven’t, it’s just that they’re probably busily manufacturing the newer faster 3G iPhone that’s rumored to be released in June during the Worldwide Apple Developer’s Conference.

If you’re still in need of an iPhone, Apple recommends you try the brick and mortar Apple and AT&T stores as some may have units still available. If you’ve always wanted one you’d better hurry though because once they’re gone from inventory, you can bet they are not going to be replenished… until June anyways.
