SSL Required for Google API Connections

Have you heard the news? Yesterday Google announced that they would be requiring SSL for all API request connections to Google Documents List, Google Spreadsheets and Google Sites after Thursday, September 15, 2011.

Google also announced that the SSL enabled Google Maps API will be available to all customers — effective immediately.

All Sipylus clients are urged to make the changes by Thursday, September 15, 2011 to avoid getting 404 errors. If you require assistance on this matter, please let us know in the support forums as soon as possible.

Also, do you want to improve your SEO? Adding SSL to your site is also recommended and since we have multiple domain aliases, we have 301 redirected them to the main site as that will also save on purchasing multiple SSL certificates for those domains.
