Is it possible to get a browser in full-screen mode? Absolutely. I have been doing it for a while and so can you after this. Please note that the tips differ and knowledge of your keyboard is a must.

Chrome
To get out of and get into full screen in Google Chrome, please utilize the F11 key on the upper portion of the keyboard.

Edge
To get out of and get into full screen in Microsoft Edge, please utilize the Win + Shift + Enter key combination.

Firefox
To get out of and get into full screen in Firefox, please utilize the F11 key on the upper portion of the keyboard.

Opera
To get out of and get into full screen in Opera, please utilize the F11 key on the upper portion of the keyboard.
