Gaffer Tape

Saturday, August 2, 2003 Articles, Tips Comments Off on Gaffer Tape

I only had eyes for duct tape but then gaffer tape came along and here are a few things I come to like during my usage.

Surface
The surface is not glossy or reflective so it does not pop out to the eye when hit by light so if I am using it to conceal cables on the floor on a stage for a presentation, it will not be seen easily.

Adhesion
When it is time to remove the tape from the surface or cables, I do not have to worry about damaging any flooring and walls or fight to get the tape removed from the cables. Keep in mind some brands work very well and their adhesion will be much stronger.
