Google Pixel 5

I am now the proud owner of a Google Pixel 5 – 5G Android Phone. A family member and I have the first launched Google Pixel XL and since the one that they have has charging issues, I gave them my Google Pixel XL and got a sweet upgrade to the Google Pixel 5.

Battery
On a full charge, I am prompted that my standby time is 1 day and 5 hours so that tells me that I can be on standby for up to 30 hours if not interacting with the phone. I do notice that after waking up at 4:00 AM (to start work at 7:00 AM) and 4-mile commute home, I will have the phone at 50% or more at 4:00 PM and will not be required to recharge it until I come home the next day.

SIM
The phone will be on the Net10 (a division of Tracfone) and I was asked to pick from AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon as the network it will piggyback on. Since I have had bad experiences the AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon, I will go with the T-Mobile SIM and have it piggyback on the T-Mobile network.
