Hackintosh USB Port Limit Patches

Adding macOS to a Hackintosh requires a USB patch to get all USB/USB3 ports recognized and working along with USBInjectAll.kext. If you look at any Mac in Apple’s lineup, you will see that anything not in their pro lineup usually comes with four or fewer USB ports. Because of that, there is a port limit on the number of USB ports in macOS that can be bypassed by either making a custom DSDT for your specific motherboard or by using the USB patch, as it is much simpler and more accessible for those that are just starting with a Hackintosh or don’t want to bother making a DSDT patch.

Out of convenience for everyone, I will try and maintain a list of working patches depending on what version of macOS is being used. What you will need to do is mount your EFI partition using an EFI mounter like the Clover Configurator app and then add USBInjectAll.kext along with an XHCI Series kext if necessary, then open up your config.plist located in EFI/Clover/ and add the patch by copy-pasting from the list below.
