If you are unable to see your Windows 10 desktop and keeps on seeing tiles, there is a very high chance that you are stuck in tablet mode. It happens while using the mouse and by clicking on the action center located lower right corner of the taskbar (next to the date and time) then another click one the Tablet Mode option so if this has happened to you, you can get out of it in a few seconds by repeating the step.
