SATA Operation for a Hackintosh

Are you trying to figure out what SATA Operation for a Hackintosh is best to use? Well, Your BIOS may give you up to four (4) options to choose from and three (3) will be able to use for installing but only one (1) is valid to boot the systems so the best option is the option that will successfully boot the system.

SATA Operation

Disabled: The SATA controllers are hidden.

ATA: SATA is configured for ATA mode.

AHCI: SATA is configured for AHCI mode.

RAID On: SATA is configured to support RAID mode (IRRT).
