Alps_SetMouseMonitor Error!!

When you dual boot, you may see an Alps_SetMouseMonitor Error!! under Windows. Don’t worry as the fix is simple. Your Trackpad should still be still active (if not connect a wired/wireless mouse) so that you can click twice on the “OK” button shown then restart your laptop back into the Windows partition again. The error should no longer show up anymore under Windows 10.

00:00 – Dell Latitude E5440 under Windows partition.
00:10 – Alps_SetMouseMonitor Error!! message.
00:20 – Laptop is charging.
00:30 – I pressed ‘Win + R’ then typed ‘winver’ for the Windows build.
00:50 – Windows 10 Enterprise.
