Choosing USB Flash Drive Sizes

If you are considering portable storage and need assistance choosing USB Flash Drive sizes, you should know that larger sizes are often cheaper (due to the extra packaging for multiple small flash drives) but when it is lost or broken, you are out of luck if this was your only drive as multiple smaller drives can make extra copies. If you do need smaller drives, acquire them when they go on sale (since people hardly buy them anymore) and gain the savings from retail stores such as Staples, RadioShack, Kmart, CVS and Walgreens.

If you can, try and invest in a Western Digital My Passport Portable Hard Drive as these USB drives can give you up to 2 TB of storage and does not require a power adapter (like most external drives) to fire up the drive for use.
