Content Preparation Progress

If you encounter the Content Preparation Progress prompt in Adobe Acrobat, follow these steps to disable it:

1. Open Adobe Acrobat.
2. Go to Edit → Preferences (or Acrobat → Preferences on Mac).
3. In the Preferences window, select “Reading” from the left-hand menu.
4. Under “Screen Reader Options”, locate the reading mode options.
5. Select “Only read the currently visible pages”.
6. Click “OK” to save the changes.

This prompt appears because Acrobat is attempting to prepare the entire document for screen readers, which can cause delays—especially with large or complex PDFs.
