K1000 Service Center

Monday, September 5, 2016 Articles, Tips Comments Off on K1000 Service Center

If you are unfamiliar with the K1000 Service Center, the login screen has the information below.

Welcome and Login…
Welcome to the User Console. The “Downloads” tab contains software available for you to download and install. You can search on software by title, vendor, or label. Please only download and install software that you require.

You must login in to the User Console to browse software. Please enter your organization’s common user name and password below to login. If you have problems logging into the site, or cannot find software that you require please contact the IT Staff.

To see if your IT Department pushed the K1000 Agent to your provided computer with Global Policy or installed it in person while they were repairing it, you can look at your firewall inbound rules.

Firewall Inbound Rules
022:TCP:192.168.1.100:K1000 Domain Yes
139:TCP:192.168.1.100:K1000 Domain Yes
445:TCP:192.168.1.100:K1000 Domain Yes
This rule has been applied by the system administrator and can not be modified.

The IP address (ex. 192.168.1.100) will be the server where the K100 Agent is hosted from and if you know how to access a shared folder on your network via the IP Address or Hostname, you can find the installer and uninstaller there to remove the K1000 Agent.

If K1000 Is Not Installed

[MSGCODE: 000] Begin agent_msi_remove.bat processing.
[MSGCODE: 002] K1000 Agent is not installed.
[MSGCODE: 100] End agent_msi_remove.bat processing.

If K1000 Is Installed

[MSGCODE: 000] Begin agent_msi_remove.bat processing.
[MSGCODE: 005] K1000 Agent is detected.
[MSGCODE: 006] Removing K1000 Agent.
