Broadcom Unified Security Hub (often shortened to Broadcom USH) tends to show up as not installed properly on Dell laptop systems after a clean installation of Microsoft Windows. This is usually due to Dell not supporting the version of Windows being installed or due to the drivers not being built into Windows.
Thankfully, one can navigate to Dell’s official website and obtain the drivers (and then stash it away on free online storage before Dell drops it from their site on December 20, 2020 or a company with deep pockets deciding to gobble them up. Once you have the installer, you need to use an account that is on the local administrator group and run the install using compatibility mode to avoid an error message.
