Broadcom USH

Broadcom Unified Security Hub (often shortened to Broadcom USH) tends to show up as not installed properly on Dell laptop systems after a clean installation of Microsoft Windows. This is usually due to Dell not supporting the version of Windows being installed on the device so you will need to utilize older versions of the Dell ControlVault Drivers so that you can set it correctly in the Device Manager.

Thankfully, one can navigate to Dell’s official website and obtain the drivers (and then stash it away on free online storage before Dell drops them from their website or redesign the website structure making it difficult to find. Once you have the installer, you need to use an account that is in the local administrator group and run the install using compatibility mode to avoid an error message.
