CutePDF

Monday, August 18, 2003 Articles, Tips Comments Off on CutePDF

I am always in the search of useful software and one that I ran across is CutePDF. CutePDF is a proprietary Portable Document Format converter and editor for use on the Microsoft Windows Operating System and is developed by Acro Software, Inc. Below are some on the uses I have found while testing.

Free Memory
When printing documents and the printer keeps telling you that you have Insufficient Memory, you can use CutePDF to gain additional memory as it will convert your documents to a smaller footprint so that the printer can handle it.

Free Merger
CutePDF allows you to combine two or more PDFs.

Free Printer
When a printer is out of ink, CutePDF comes to the rescue as you can print your document to a file that is readable by PDF viewers and then print it later when your ink supplies are replenished.

Free Software
Adobe Acrobat is a great program that comes with Adobe PDF but this software is not free. To avoid using a pirated version which is illegal plus risk getting viruses on your system, use the free version of CutePDF.
