If you need to disable sleep and hibernate, you will need to do this from the Control Panel.

Start
Control panel
Hardware and Sound
Change when the computer sleeps
Power Options Screen
Put the computer to sleep: Never
Change settings screen
Save Changes
Click on Change advanced power settings
Expand Sleep
Expand Hibernate after
Set the Minutes to 0 to turn off
Set Minute
Click Ok.
Save Changes and Close Window
