Hackintosh Can’t Screen Record with QuickTime

If your Hackintosh can’t screen record with QuickTime, there may be a simple fix for it. I tend to see the issue on gaming systems since they allow a GPU to be used and a setting to be enabled or disabled depending on the user. On my first custom build, I wanted to go for an Nvidia card but due to mining, cards were in short supply or at high prices. I am actually glad that happen as I was able to obtain a Sapphire Radeon Pulse RX 580 8GB when they first went on the market and with Nvidia, not the being the best choice on macOS versions above High Sierra, I grabbed a couple more cards for safekeeping since the manufacturer does not offer repair services no matter how much money you want to throw their way.
