Reinstall Windows Media Player

If you are able to listen to your voicemail that arrives as an attachment in your email, be sure that you know how to reinstall Windows Media Player since this program is often the default program for playing .wav files on Windows computing devices.

At times, it can freeze upon launch and leaves you the only option of uninstalling it. The process to remove and restore can take up to 20 minutes and as little as 10 minutes depending on the speed of the computer and Operating Systems version and is a possibility why users go out of their way to get Windows Media Center on Windows 10.

Removal
01. Save and close out all your documents and programs.
02. Right click on the Windows Start button.
03. Select the Control Panel from the list.
4a. If in the Icons View, choose Programs & Features
4b. If in the Category View, choose Programs
05. Choose the Turn Windows Features on or off.
06. Scroll to the Media Features box and remove the select check.
07. Accept the confirmation by clicking the YES button.
08. Start the uninstall procedure by clicking the OK button.

The process will start and prompt you to restart the computer at the end and is the reason why you had to save all your documents at the start of the removal process.
