Have you heard about the Windows 8 Consumer Preview and would like to be one of the first to try out the reimagined and reinvented Windows? If your computer has the following hardware specifications or better, you are ready to go. The link will expire soon so download the files as soon as possible so that you can have them in the future.

Windows 8 Consumer Preview (32-bit)
* 1 GHz or faster processor (32-bit)
* 1 GB RAM (32-bit)
* 16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit)
* DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver (32-bit)

Windows 8 Consumer Preview (64-bit)
* 1 GHz or faster processor (64-bit)
* 2 GB RAM (64-bit)
* 20 GB available hard disk space (64-bit)
* DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver (64-bit)

Touch
To use touch, you need a tablet or monitor that supports multitouch.

Windows Store
To access Windows Store and to download and run apps, you need an active Internet connection and a screen resolution of at least 1024 x 768.

Snap Apps
To snap apps, you need a screen resolution of at least 1366 x 768.
