10.00.01 Supply Memory Error

It should be very easy to figure out but if you are unaware what the 10.00.01 Supply Memory Error means, it is an indication that the cartridge in the printer needs to be changed. If a genuine cartridge was used, you should know that the replacement (if bought at the same time) can develop the same issue as they are likely from the same production batch.

Detecting the Message
Depending on the printer, it may not be easy to detect the error message. The first time I ran into this message while helping a client, a 49.38.07 Error (4a04) was the main and only message that wasn’t being displayed. It was until I removed all the moving parts for my diagnostic test that the printer alerted me (for a few seconds) to the actual message and cause.
