Now that the HP LaserJet 9050n are getting old in the tooth, the printer is being swapped out for the HP LaserJet Enterprise M806. Here is what you need to know if you are the owner or will support the devices.

Cartridge Replacement
After using your HP LaserJet Enterprise M806 for the first time, practice how to do a cartridge replacement and follow it up by doing so once a month. It’s very easy to do and will give you an idea if the printer needs a good cleaning or find any ripped paper that you may have missed. Don’t worry about the cleaning since those who use this printer tends to be in an office environment so the task will fall to the IT Department.

WiFi Printing
The HP LaserJet Enterprise M806 does not come with a wireless feature, however, if you add an access point to your network without having AP Isolation enabled, it will give you the ability to print to the HP LaserJet Enterprise M806 from portable devices. if AP Isolation is enabled, VPN will be needed especially with a firewall in place.
