3M Littmann Stethoscopes

Thursday, September 4, 2003 Articles, Tips Comments Off on 3M Littmann Stethoscopes

Do you know that there are many uses for 3M Littmann Stethoscopes other than their medical use? It’s all hearing related and the best that I have found so far are 3M Littmann Stethoscopes. Here are just a few things that you can attempt with them.

Combination Locks
By placing a stethoscope on the back of a combination lock, you can hear the tumblers and with a little patience, guess the code to unlock saving from hunting down bolt cutters.

Hard Disk Drives
Mechanical hard disk drives tend to fail or perform poorly after 3 years of daily use and with a stethoscope, you can listen to the drive as it spins up so that you can make a clone before it fails.
