I had the opportunity to work on an HP LaserJet 600 M601.
When a 99.09.67 error is displayed on the control panel, per HP, it indicates that firmware is not loaded (wiped or the SSD failed) on the hard disk drive. This is usually the result of failed, new installed SSD or performing a Clean Disk command on the drive. To correct this, the latest firmware needs to be downloaded from their website then flashed using a USB flash 2.0 drive to an undamaged SSD. The error message will automatically launch the preboot menu when powered on but if it does not, you can read how to locate the Preboot Menu on HP Printers and launch it manually.
