Install a WordPress Plugin

Did you know that there are quite a few ways to install a WordPress Plugin? I will cover them below so that you can try the option depending on your configuration.

Using FTP
01. Download the plugin zip file and save it to your computer.
02. Extract the zip file.
03. Navigate to the ../wp-content/plugins/ directory.
04. Upload the extracted files downloaded from in Step 2.
05. The plugin is now installed. If needed, activate the plugin.

Tip: If setting up multiple websites using cPanel, upload WordPress to the Skeleton Directory to save time.

Using the WordPress Plugin Search
01. Navigate to the Add New sub-page under the Plugins admin page.
02. Search for connections business directory.
03. The plugin should be listed first in the search results.
04. Click the Install Now link.
05. The plugin is now installed. If needed, activate the plugin.

Tip: If setting up multiple websites using cPanel, upload WordPress to the Skeleton Directory to save time.

Uploading in WordPress Admin
01. Download the plugin zip file and save it to your computer.
02. Navigate to the Add New sub-page under the Plugins admin page.
03. Click the Upload link.
04. Select zip file from where you stored it on your computer.
05. Click the Install Now button.
06. The plugin is now installed. If needed, activate the plugin.

Tip: If setting up multiple websites using cPanel, upload to the WordPress to the Skeleton Directory to save time.
