Block the Quora Login Popup

Friday, August 8, 2003 Articles, Tips Comments Off on Block the Quora Login Popup

While trying to find information on the Internet, Yahoo! Answer and Quora are often in the search results. Both sites are community-driven so you’ll find the same question phrased and asked numerous times. Yahoo! Answer is avoided by me (as a reader and helper) as it now has a high increase of SPAM links plus often cite Wikipedia. Quora is okay but if you see a second article that catches your eyes and try to read it, you are prevented due to a popup to login. Thankfully, you can block the Quora login popup easily if you do not have an account with Quora or plan to share your knowledge.

Browser Extension/Plugin
One way to do this on the fly is with a extension for your browser but keep in mind that the extension has to be maintained by the developer to continue work with the site and updates to the browser.

URL Hack
A trick that will work with any browser is to add ?share=1 to the end of the link. You just have to remember to add it beforehand or whenever it pops up.
